This popular bucket bag style has the iconic monogram canvas adorned with bright cheerful cherries. 
 
She features a gorgeous Cerises Monogram Canvas which is a result of the collaboration with the Japanese artist Takashi Murakami in 2004, which involves a 6 stage screen printing process that attributes to it’s the depth you see when you look at the pattern closely.  The Louis Vuitton Monogram Cerises Line is a limited edition collection of Spring/Summer 2005. The Japanese pop artist, Takashi Murakami wanted to give some freshness and cheerfulness to the iconic monogram pattern and that was when the Monogram Cerises Line was created.  More than 15 different pigments are used to obtain the bright and shimmery colors of the cherries and their expressions of laughter and surprise. Together with Marc Jacobs, the Monogram Cerises line became a huge success! Nothing Louis Vuitton does or created was ever a simple process, hence the investment that one makes in these bags.  Please look at my photos as I’ve include pictures of this very complex screen printing process.
 
What I love about this bag.
First and foremost the whimsical pattern that as I mentioned above has such depth and creativity shown in every cherry’s face.  Then of course the classic look of the bucket bag, the long straps that make it not only a hand bag but a very useful shoulder bag.  I also love, love, love this interior.  The plain monogram bucket bags had a lining in them that would often deteriorate over time, but this lovely cherry lining is made of a  very durable and long lasting Vuittonite textile, not to mention this lining is true eye candy!  I also love that the bucket bags feature a chain that you can hook your keys, wallet, small cosmetic case or change purse to…. for finding them in a flash!
 
This is a perfect piece for weekend travel, shopping, site seeing, as well as works so well for an everyday bag, not too big and not too small!
 
This bag includes her almost as gorgeous Sleeper Bag, a booklet and the original receipt when purchased back in 2005 for over $1,300  from Bloomingdales NY.  This investment can only go up in value as most Limited Editions do.
 
This bag is not only a collectors must have but will soon become a favorite, that you’ll want to use again and again.
