So this is what I refer to as a true Super Vintage. She dates from the early 1980's making her close to 40 years old. 

This reminds me of the craftsmanship of their Steamer Chest and how it all began. I can imagine this being made for the Weekend Hunt, where one might be in need of a couple changes of clothes, a picnic and a blanket, some hats of course and your riding boots!

It boast a very spacious interior on both sides that could easily fit a weeks’ worth of clothing if need be. Love the buckles and straps, so old school. This works great for a day trip or whatever fun getaway you may take this one on, where you can fit all your essentials for a complete day or weeklong full of fun!
 
There is a rod that runs across the top which is just amazing engineering, and a lost art of making things that last! The handle and the interior were also built to last. The handle is really strong and will not let you down for years and years to come.

Condition:
This is in really nice condition; the Canvas is clean and beautiful.
The Vachetta Leather has been well preserved and has developed a medium honey patina showing minor wear.
The inside on both sides are super clean.
The strap is in good condition as well
